Notion can't compete with Evernote note taking, and Evernote can't compete with Notion project management. But it just isn't as convenient for that purpose. I took the time to organize them and really tried to make one-the-fly note taking easy in Notion.
Next, I built a note taking system in Notion and imported all my notes from Evernote. Notion is much more powerful for project management, and I create websites and wikis in Notion. I love that it has a lot of what I was missing in Evernote, specifically regarding customization. Now I use both.įirst, I learned the ins and outs of Notion and how to use it. I tried to switch, but have changed my mindset.
I've used Evernote since 2009 and Notion for over a year.
